Special Materials and High-Alloy Welding

Welding of Special Materials and High-Alloy Steels

PRO-Welding Industry Services provides high-alloy welding services for industrial projects where standard welding capabilities are not sufficient. We support works involving special materials, high-alloy steels and selected nickel-based alloys used in demanding industrial environments.

Our teams work directly at industrial facilities across Europe, including power generation plants, waste-to-energy installations, paper mills, process plants and heavy industry sites. These projects require experienced welders, strict parameter control, qualified welding procedures and close cooperation with the client’s technical and QA/QC teams.

High-alloy welding is often required in installations exposed to high temperature, high pressure, corrosion, erosion, aggressive chemical compounds or intensive operational wear. In such environments, welding quality directly affects the service life, reliability and safety of the installation.

Materials with Elevated Technical Requirements

Depending on project requirements, our experience and capabilities include:

  • welding of Sanicro® materials
  • welding and installation works on high-alloy boiler components
  • Alloy 625 / nickel-based weld overlay works
  • welding works involving P91 steel
  • welding of duplex and super duplex steels
  • welding based on approved WPS/WPQR documentation
  • cooperation with inspection and NDT teams

The selection of welding method, filler material, heat input, joint preparation and inspection scope is always based on project documentation, material type, operating conditions and applicable quality requirements.

Scope of Welding Works

Our scope may include:

  • welding of process piping and technological pipelines
  • welding of high-pressure and high-temperature piping systems
  • welding of boiler tubes, elbows and pressure parts
  • replacement of worn installation components
  • welding works during shutdowns and maintenance stops
  • weld overlay and rebuilding of worn surfaces
  • repair welding of components exposed to corrosion and erosion
  • fitting, assembly and welding of high-alloy components
  • coordination of WPS/WPQR, welder qualifications and inspection requirements
  • NDT coordination and cooperation with the client’s QA/QC department

We can provide welders, pipe fitters, foremen and welding supervision personnel for works requiring strict technical discipline and efficient execution within limited shutdown windows.
