Shutdown support for industrial facilities
During industrial shutdowns, every hour matters. Works must be prepared, coordinated and executed without unnecessary delays, while maintaining full compliance with site safety rules, welding procedures and inspection requirements.
PRO-Welding Industry Services supports clients with experienced teams of welders, pipe fitters, mechanical fitters, foremen and supervision personnel. We can join an existing shutdown programme as a specialist contractor responsible for welding, fitting, mechanical assembly, repair or replacement works.
Scope of Assembly and Maintenance Works
As part of the executed works, we perform, among others:
- assembly and disassembly of technological installation components,
- replacement of steam, process and technological piping sections,
- welding and fitting works on industrial pipelines,
- modernisation and refurbishment of existing systems,
- replacement of installation components and supporting structures,
- mechanical and fitting works,
- repair works in restricted access areas,

- support during commissioning and start-up activities.
Planned shutdowns and emergency repairs
We support both scheduled shutdowns and urgent repair works. For planned outages, we help clients prepare the right team before the execution window begins. For emergency cases, we focus on fast mobilisation, clear scope verification and efficient on-site execution.
Depending on team availability, project location and technical requirements, PRO-Welding can organise short-notice support for critical industrial repairs, including projects where mobilisation is required within 24 hours.
How we organise shutdown works
Before mobilisation, we review the project scope, drawings, material requirements, welding procedures, inspection plan and expected schedule. This allows us to select the right welders, fitters and supervisors for the job.
On site, our teams work under the client’s safety procedures, permit-to-work system and shutdown coordination structure. We are used to working alongside other contractors, QA/QC teams, inspectors and plant maintenance departments.
